Mothers, or female role models, play a pivotal role in a girls life.
Studies show that the relationship between a mother and daughter impacts the daughter's self worth, well being and how they carry themselves in society. InspiHER is a full day event focusing on nurturing a bond between a mother and a daughter while focusing on holistic well-being and self -care. (the event is for any female adult role model and a teenage girl, aged 12-16).
Through movement and mindfulness, inspiHER will teach the girls and women about strength, balance, gratitude, happiness and most important respect for themselves. The day is jam packed with physical activity, journaling, yoga, mindfulness and art. A few of the topics covered during the day include: benefits of moving your body; nutrition and how to have a positive relationship with food; how to be confident in your own skin; self-love; friendships; effective communication between a parent and teenager and bringing back joy into your life.
